Basic Rules for Northgate Mall AO.

Post by Lionclaws »

The followings are basic rules and regulation for Thunderdome Northgate Mall AO. Thunderdome VI specific details will come in Thunderdome VI WarnOrd.

BASIC RULES

A. Airsoft is a game of honor, and unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Examples of unsportsmanlike
conduct include not calling your hits, yelling repeatedly and loudly at others to call their own hits, cursing and
yelling at other players or staff members, playing with a gun which exceeds FPS limits, and/or any other
behavior deemed unbecoming and detrimental to the event by Lion Claws staff.
B. Please respect your faction’s chain of command and follow mission assignments and direction provided by
squad and faction leaders.
C. Players who attempt to steal, cause bodily harm to others, or otherwise break the law will be referred to local
law enforcement (which will be on site) and barred from future events.
D. No real steel firearms or fixed blade knives are allowed inside the AO.
E. Only use biodegradable BBs. No glass, silica or metal BBs are allowed.
F. Do not kick open doors or otherwise cause intentional harm to the AO (no breaking windows, light bulbs,
doors, etc.). Areas that are off-limits will be marked with tape. Do not enter them. All rooftops are totally
off-limits.

ENGAGEMENT AND HIT RULES

A. Make sure you have both a red dead rag and a red dead light. The AO has many dark or otherwise unlit spaces.
A flashlight with a red lens does not count as a dead light.
B. Call your hits in a loud, clear voice. Do not call out opposing players. If there is an issue with hit calling, notify
an admin or staff member. Players caught cheating may be ejected from the game without refund and barred
from future Lion Claws events.
C. A BB strike to any part of the body or gear constitutes a hit, and ballistic plates do not negate them. Gun hits
and ricochets (if you know for certain it was a ricochet) do not count, but when in doubt, call yourself out.
D. If you are hit, pull out your dead rag (or, if in darkness, activate your dead light), then fall down, lay down, or
take a knee. Standing isn’t permitted, nor is acting as a human shield for your team.
E. Medic Playing Cards – Your upper leadership will have playing cards that can be used as a revive and to reset
bandages. Cards must be given to you at time of revive – you can’t have cards on your person and revive
yourself.
F. Each player must supply two ACE bandages (TCA or MSW tourniquets will also be allowed, On the Go
Surplus and Airsoft Junkiez will be on site to sell tourniquets) to use for medic heals. Bandages may not be
pre-tied or pre-prepped, and players may not apply their own bandages. For your first and second hit, any
friendly teammate may apply one of your own bandages/tourniquets to your upper arm. If you are hit a third
time, you must wait your bleed out time (5 minutes) and then return to spawn. We do not allow “hit sticks”. If
you have less than 2 TQs, you just took away a revive for yourself.
G. Bleed out time is five (5) minutes. During this time, you are not allowed to talk or use your radio (dead men
tell no tales). You may only call out for a medic or tell your teammate/medic where your bandages are located.
Once the five minutes is up, you may return to your spawn point to reset your bandages and re-enter the game
OR find a leader with a Med card.
H. While moving a wounded player, you must have one hand on their shoulder, and may only walk with them.
I. Do not intentionally shoot at anyone with a dead rag or dead light on.
J. Do not use anything as a Riot Shield and do NOT move any furniture as mobile cover.
K. Cover has to stay where you find it (with the exception of the oil barrels).
L. Do not blind fire. If you are not looking down the sights or through an optic and presenting a target, do not
engage. This includes cracks between doors and door jams, and other similar locations. NO CRACK
SHOOTING. Your head has to be able to fit through the hole you are shooting out of.
M. There is no “Bang Bang” rule in effect, but be mindful of close targets. Do not shoot a player who attempts to
parlay or surrender. Do not overshoot players at close range. Knife / melee kills are not allowed.

CHRONO, WEAPONS, AND CLASS RULES

A. This is a Semi-Auto only event, all weapons must fire in semi-automatic and must be at or under 1.55 joule.
B. Players should report to the chrono station with an empty mag for each weapon they plan to use.
C. 2 guns MAXIMUM at chrono at a time.
D. Full Seal Eye protection must be worn at the chrono station.
E. LC staff will provide event sponsored HPA .32 gram biodegradable BBs for chrono.

LASERS

Red, Green and IR allowed as long as EYE SAFE. NO Blue or Purple. Do NOT shine lasers in peoples faces.

GRENADES

A. NO Grenade use of any kind in the basement.
B. Gas / CO2 powered grenades are approved for use.
C. All pea type grenades (EG67) and approved pyro type flashbangs are allowed (TAGinn Hand thrown, Cherub
Milsim).
D. Blank fire Flashbangs may only be used with 209 primer loads. 9mm and 12 gauge loads are not allowed at LC
events.
E. All players may carry/use grenades.
F. Hand grenades must be tossed underhand and should not be thrown more than head height (six feet) off the
ground. All grenades have a fifteen (15) foot kill radius. Grenades that eject BBs have this radius, plus any BB
strike outside it. You may not kick or step on a grenade to avoid its effect. Do not throw yourselves on top of a
grenade to protect your teammates.
G. Loading any type of powder or liquid into a grenade is prohibited.
H. Only hard cover will protect you from grenade hits. Walls, doors, and metal objects constitute hard cover.
Cardboard boxes, cloth, or your teammates do not provide protection from grenades.
I. NO smokes allowed at this indoor AO.
J. Absolutely no personal pyrotechnics, fireworks, flares, open flames, or similar devices will be allowed.
K. No launchers/grenade launchers of any kind. Launchable solid and pyro projectiles are NOT allowed at this AO.
