All comm,

Many of you are prior service or have been with us to Camp Pendleton in the past and understand the complex procedures that come with the project. Now that the base is no longer an "Open Post" makes having civilians on deck that much more challenging. Yet, you complied with all the requirements and patiently worked with us; for that we thank you.

1stRECON Marines, our host, is a tip of the spear type unit. This is their FIRST time hosting us and if thing goes well this weekend they would continue to work with us in the future. It's not a secret that SoCal lacks viable AOs and that being able to conduct Airsoft event on Camp Pendleton is an extreme privilege.

We trust that you've read your WarnOrd and are aware of the mandatory two-copy signed waiver check in procedure. We'll leave other updates and announcement to Chief of Staff and your CO. Adhere to WarnOrd's DOs and DON'Ts. Fire danger is very much alive on post, especially at ranges inside canyons. Let's follow rules and procedures and have ourselves a fun time at Range 131 this weekend.

1stRECON Marines will have their unit souvenirs for sale on Saturday. Please support them if you're able.

See y'all on deck this weekend.
