6/01/2022 Update

Post by Lionclaws »

Devil Dog, like it's predecessor, Bull Dog, is to benefit the USMC Birthday Ball. Due to limited number of pax allowed on range, only alumni are accepted at this event.

Please note that Camp Pendleton is a federal military installation. No minors. Anyone with prior criminal record should not apply. You will be asked to submit your driver's license upon registering for the Op. This information will be forwarded to Camp Pendleton for security background check.

Devil Dog - V is scheduled for July 29~31, 2022. Range Control will assign actual range by June 28, 2022.

Be very clear that this exercise is not taking place at the post's airsoft/paintball park but an actual training range, hence, all federal regulations applied.

General logistics:

To enter the post you must have a valid driver's license (same one that you used to register).

Each range has its own set of rules on camping and some ranges do not allow camping nor staging vehicle on site. Example, Devil Dog staff will provide rides from the designated parking structure to/from Range based on a pre-set schedule.

We strongly recommend that you bring MRE or similar for your convenience. You may check in on Friday, stay off post and re-enter on Saturday and Sunday. There are ample motels in the town of Oceanside. We do not recommend booking rooms or flights until AFTER the range is announced on June 28, 2022.

No commercial filming allowed on the installation.

There's a military vehicle museum on post with free admission.

Several fast food restaurants are also on post.
