Hand grenade question

Per the WarnOrd:

3-8.1 Escort gas powered and AGH-01 (or subsequent versions) BB hand grenades are approved for OPNW - V use (only).

Should this be construed to mean that these are the only grenade types authorized for use, or that grenades in general are authorized only in this particular Lionclaws event?

I'm asking because I personally use the VFC "James Boom" grenades, and have been fairly happy with their performance. Others in my squad may also be carrying, if permitted, other commercially produced hand grenades of different brands than listed in the rules.

Thanks in advance!

NO.

Your grenade is similarly powered and produces similar bb dispersal, and therefore, is acceptable. The Escort and AGH-01 are referred to as a standard/guideline.

Please observe all WarnOrd rules on proper grenade deployment (i.e., underhand tosses only).

To continue the Question would Dummy hand grenades be sufficient or Do I need to have a bb dispersing one?

Seeing as the rule is 15ft radius no matter what and center man regardless of side must call the outs?

Edit: Unless Obstacles Are in way of one man that would stop fragments.

By dummy grenades do you mean rubber ones?

I think the rules state no rubber grenades or tennis balls.

Could be wrong, and I'm sure someone will let us all know if I am. lol

As per the WarnOrd:

4-1.5 "Grenade: Judging from previous Ops, rubber grenades and tennis balls are no longer allowed. The only grenades allowed are MR. ESCORT's gas operated BB-firing grenade (or similar, must be submitted for approval before event) and the AHG-01 (or subsequent versions) BB grenade."
