R66 (AZ Info)

Anyone have info on the Arizona game that takes place late March? Perhaps something on location, times, etc. Any info will be great.

Thanks

Re: R66 (AZ Info)

We were unable to secure a location that's LC-qualified after six months of research. AZ has nor shortage of generic land/desert and we wanted to offer AZ enthusiasts more than plain land. At this point, most suggest that we focus on two unique AOs...one: LC-XI in CA this May. two: a very unique AO in NM. Seems like most rather safe up and travel to a cool AO than having the same old same old.

A few things to note is that the game will have a certain camo you must wear, I believe the age restriction is 18 but even if your younger you can join as long as someone can vouch for you from within the alumni, you may only use mid-caps or low caps, and whenever the reg. opens you must sign up as there are no walk in's. Seems like their currently struggling with this event so stay tuned.

CORRECTION

1. SOME...Not all events are limited to players 18 yrs or older.
2. Route 66 Arizona is currently a no go for 2012 due to loss of the AO.
3. Rules for this and most OLCMSS events can be found here viewtopic.php?f=112&t=4300

Not an LC qualified venue I'm afraid (an island of private land in a sea of state trust land) and probably not big enough. That being said, John if you want more info on it please see Mike from CT or myself, we know the history of the place and have a good lead on the public records.
