2011 WoA date changed to Dec. 10th

Troops,

Folks have talked about Nov. 19th being the weekend before Thanksgiving, and our retail partners also talked about them having pre-Thanksgiving Sales, so after further brainstorming, we decided on moving it to Sat. Dec. 10th. It's after Thanksgiving, but far away from Xmas, so, there, let's plan on killing each other on Sat. Dec. 10th. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Re: 2011 WoA date changed to Dec. 10th

Are there weapon restrictions? ie: US force muse carry M16 or M4' s , and the Russian's must use AK style weapons? Will there be a lunch break? Would British woodland DPM be okay to use on the Russian side or US woodland only? Where can we get a little more detailed info , Please? I'm looking forward to this event but want to make sure I stay inside the rules. Thanks

ANSWER
1. No weapon restrictions.
2. While I have yet to receive the schedule past practice has been to break for lunch, I see no reason to assume otherwise.
3. Yes DPM would be an acceptable alternative.
4. If you can not find the information in the posts please feel free to PM your questions to me

What about Grenades and Rocket launchers? Allowed and if so, what restrictions as to numbers etc.... ?

ANSWER
Brian - link to core rule set - viewtopic.php?f=131&t=4213

Standard is 1 HWS per squad at most OLCMSS events. 4 Rockets per HWS. Any deviation from this standard will be covered in the Player Pack.

Re: 2011 WoA date changed to Dec. 10th

Was never in Retirement :) We have just been playing our own games with friends at our field, or occasionally doing our own games at Code Red. This Op looked like fun and since Shadowsword is involved I can expect a neat scenario. Looking forward to it. I have 5 of us signed up right now, and I will have a sixth signed up next week, I would like to put in to run a squad.

Best Regards and look forward to seeing you :)

Request has been logged see you soon Brian
