Should We Stay in Sanna Ranch?

Since gas has hit $4 a gallon, how many of you are comfortable driving up to Hunter Ligget from SoCal?

How many NorCal guys would drive down to Ligget?

If gas is a big issue, should we keep it in Sanna Ranch?

I say if you've got the money for all the period guns & gear and to pay for the registration, you should be able to pay for gas, too. But that's just my opinion and I'm sure others will feel differently.

I am still down, as are most of the team, we can all carpool.

I would like to see a new venue for Hac Bao.

If Hunter Ligget is the best place. I say keep it there. I'm willing to sacrifice for a great place to play. I'd pay how ever much is needed to get there. Don't sacrifice the game for something we cannot control.

Hunter Liggget is a lot closer for Norcal guys.
Its almost midway between LA and SF.

Granted gas is expensive, but I've never been to Monterey either.. This is worthy of a road trip. the weather might just be a bit cooler up there then down here since we are talking july here.

I suppose the deciding factor for me would be cost of the event. Since we don't know what that is yet.. we really can't decisively factor

I'm keeping it the same as before at $120, no increase

$120 is worth the drive.

I wouldn't mind the drive to Hunter-Ligget. I have kind of planned my vacation for after the OP so I can enjoy some more camping at Big Sur.

Our AO at Liggett butts up to a LAKE while we have a river running through (okay, by July it maybe a few inches deep which is perfect for us).

This AO is thousands of acres......our chance to have a real large scale Vietnam showdown!!

If the site at Hunter Ligget is better, I don't mind the extra cost of the fuel to get there.

AO is secured for that weekend, I was prompted to ask this question in fear of guy not being able to afford gas, but it doesn't appear to be the case which is good to know
