Q: IS THERE CAMPING AT THIS AO? ...ARE CAMPFIRES ALLOWED?

ANSWER
Most if not all O.L.C.M.S.S Events provide for the opportunity for players to camp out at the event site. OPLC will have Primitive facilities available

Campfires are NOT allowed at the West area AO due to the Dry windy nature of the area. However; Gas camp stoves, Propane, or Charcoal grills are allowed for cooking purposes
Note a Fire Extinguisher is required when using any of the listed cooking sources

Q: Is it 100% necessary to be there on Friday or is it ok to show up very early Saturday.

ANSWER
If you can't get there on Friday, you need to be there as early as possible (when the gates open) on Saturday morning so you can check in and Chrono.

**NOTE: The event WILL NOT be held up waiting on late-comers...if you are late on Saturday morning it's possible you could miss the first scenario..so...don't be late!

I have a question about a minor. I clicked on the link above where it says "Answered here" but that link is broken and took me to nothing.

My son just turned 14 in January. We live in Southern California and he missed the SoCal Camp Wolverine in December by a month. I don't see any more SoCal camps coming up on your website. He's been playing at a local field for two years. I have not yet attended a Lion Claws event because I play airsoft to spend time with my son and if he can't go, I'm not gonna go have fun without him. I can tell you that he is beyond qualified and we have several Lion Claws alumni who will vouch for him. But since the Camp Wolverine events have started I'm not sure if vouching works anymore.

Is it possible to get a solid answer as to how I can get my son qualified to attend a Lion Claws event with me. Does vouching still work? Is there another Camp Wolverine happening in SoCal soon? Please help, my son is excited to grow into the next level of airsoft play.

There are no schedule Wolverine camps before LC in May. According to John the vouching system is no longer in place.

My Advice at this point is to contact or call John Lu directly to make a plea for your situation. He may make exceptions on a case by case basis but do not quote me on that.

John Lu's contact information can be found here.

Good luck.

This may seem like a dumb question, but for event registration, one just needs an ID card (would a school ID work?) and they're good?
