About Lion Claws
Under the leadership of military legends such as Col. (ret.) Danny McKnight and Vietnam veteran Sgt. Kenn Miller, OPLC I's post OP hype generated more interest in military simulation like never before. OPLC I was the first US MilSim to make the coveted Japanese COMBAT magazine! In 2003 MSG (ret.) "Mad Max" Mullen entered OPLC II, replacing Sgt. Kenn Miller as Bravo CO while Sgt. Kenn Miller moved on to command the illusive Shadow Squad (staff).LC II grew to four full-size military platoons, and it's been growing every since.
To accommodate the needs for airsoft Military Simulations nationwide, Operation Irene was established in the South in 2003, Operation Northern Wind debuted in the Midwest in 2004 with Operations Hac Bao, Night Scorpion, and Bulldog having also been established since. In addition, more military VIP's have joined the Lionclaws Series family including Col. (ret.) Paul Longgrear and Tsgt. Timothy Ryan. We tribute the success of Operation Lion Claws series to superb military leadership by superb military personalities such as Col. Danny McKnight, Sgt. Kenn Miller, MSG "Mad Max" Mullen, Col. Paul Longgrear, and Tsgt. Timothy Ryan. The success of OPLC also resulted from high caliber Milsim contestants who put the meaning of OPLC motto "HONOR, TACTICS, UNITY" into action at each outing. Operation Lion Claws does not promise fancy prizes, nor does it guarantee the comfort of home. OPLC promises a weekend of physical hardship, tactical challenge, and a sense of camaraderie. Mostly, Operation Lion Claws offers you an airsoft Milsim experience like none other: an opportunity to fight alongside military legends; not just another GI, but those who served with distinction! |
